This kit includes:
The CD includes the avr-gcc tool chain. The CD is independent of the operating system and software on your PC. It is a bootable CD with a graphical desktop and the complete C-Language programming environment (avr-gcc and avr-libc-1.4.3). The CD includes (besides the knoppix booting capability):
Note that the CD is ready to use without prior installation. The installation of software components is optional. CD System requirements (tuxgraphics CD version 2.X):

Cable ties and insulation foil for avrusb500v2
This is a useful addon if you do not want to build a box around the
avrusb500v2 board. The kit consists of:
The cable ties function as a pull relief for cables and tie the plastic insulation foil to the bottom of the board. price: 0.90 Euro [convert_currency] |
AVR programmer USB, all SMD, stk500 V2 compatible, ready for use.
AvrUsb500 SMD is probably the smallest and most powerful microcontroller programmer you can get. It is really cute. Just a bit over 4cm x 1cm. It emulates a stk500v2 on a virtual com-port. The main features of the avrusb500 SMD programmer are:
The kit includes:
The device comes with firmware loaded. The firmware can, due to the device's size, not be changed. It has however configuration possibilities via serial terminal. The CD includes all needed drivers for Windows, MacOSX (on PowerPC and Intel) and a the avr-gcc development environment on a Knoppix CD. price: 44.90 Euro [convert_currency] Check also our simple generic development board and the tuxgraphics to atmel 10-pin or 6-pin programmer adapter further down. |
ATmega8, PDIP (ATMEGA8-16PU)The ATMega 8 AVR-RISC-Microcontroller. Package: DIL-28, 8K Flash memory, 512 bytes EEPROM, 1K S-Ram, 4.5-5.5 V, max. 16 MHz. Lead free.

5V mini power supply, USB, (power for experiments on the road)This small power supply provides approximatley 5V and uses a USB port as power source.
To just use a straight USB cable as "power supply" is a potentialy high risk for your PC. This cable has a small SMD circuit which protects your computer against "mistakes". It's short circuit protection comes in around 200mA. A bright red LED goes on as soon as a short circuit is detected. This cable should be plugged directly into a USB port at the computer (not a passive hub). price: 5.95 Euro [convert_currency] |
3 digit LED display, mini DVM moduleParts for: "Mini 3 digit display, a small and inexpensive voltmeter module"The kit contains all the basic parts to build this Digital Voltmeter Module. This module can have a common ground plane for power and measured voltage. You can freely program the voltage range. The position of an optional decimal point can also be freely configured. This kit includes the following parts:

A microcontroller based bench DC power supply unit: Small but very advancedThese are the components and the printed circuit board to build a bench power supply unit similar to the on described in the article: "A digital DC power supply unit"This kit includes:
|
An interactive LCD panel for you linux PCParts for the article 375: "lcdproc -- LCD displays easy to use and easy to build"This kit includes the following parts:
Note: currently we have only 2 black push buttons (instead of one red and one black) price: 12.50 Euro [convert_currency] |
An electronic diceA simple but a lot of fun!Software download and article: "An AVR microcontroller based electronic dice" The kit contains all the basic parts and a printed circuit board. Documentation and circuit diagram are also included.

Adapter cable for our programmer socket (to use any programmer hardware with our PCBs and kits)Our programmer connector is very small, durable, easy to plug-in and fits into standard prototype breadboards. It is ideal for a temporary connection. Not all other vendors use such a nice solution. This connector comes with a 8 cm long cable. It is just right to build your own adapter cable and re-use any existing ISP-programmer from other vendors with our hobby electronic kits. This item includes: - 5 pin gold plated connector with a short 8 cm cable. One outer pin is marked. price: 2.49 Euro [convert_currency] |
Adapter: tuxgraphics programmer to atmel 10pin connector (use our programmers with atmel development boards)This is an adapter for the quite common and rather bulky 10 pin ISP-programmer plug. This item includes: - 10 pin programmer connector to tuxgraphics 5 pin socket - the cable is about 6 cm long Instead of buying it you can also build this adapter yourself: Circuit diagram, 10-pin-adapter.gif price: 2.95 Euro [convert_currency] Sorry, out of stock |
Adapter: tuxgraphics programmer to atmel 6pin connector (use our programmers with atmel development boards)Same as above but for the atmel 6pin connector.Instead of buying it you can also build this adapter yourself: Circuit diagram, 6-pin-adapter.gif price: 2.95 Euro [convert_currency] Sorry, out of stock |
